  • This clay vase (see photo above) is a slab built pot, trimmed out on a wheel and then fired to harden the clay. Once it reached its bisque stage, 6 glazes were applied using my own recipe of chemicals, followed by 27 days in an underground kiln. Note the very subtle yet beautiful detail which allows your eye to flow around this vase.
